Donna Lee Cook
The death occurred at the Children's Hospital, Halifax, on Wednesday, September 4 th., 1968, of Donna Lee, 11 year old daughter of Donald and Margery Cook. Donna was a victim of Cystic Fibrosis and waas in delicate health since birth. Although she spent much time in hospital during her lifetime, she was seriously ill and confined there for only three days when God relieved her from her trials and called her home. She was a Grade six pupil of Bridgewater School; a member of the Explorers, who attended the funeral in a group, and whenever her health permitted, she attended the United Church Sunday School which she loved so much. She is survived by her sorrowing parents and one sister, Peggy; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Cook of Cookville and Mr. and Mrs. Winslow Lohnes, Upper Northfield; also a host of other relatives. Funeral service was held from the Bridgewater United Church on Saturday.
