Tia Amanda Aulenback

Halifax Herald 12/28/2006

AULENBACK, Tia Amanda - 22. With great sadness and very heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, taken suddenly and much too soon from us on December 26, 2006. Tia brought smiles and laughter to so many. She touched all of us with compassion, and unconditional love. Tia had a wonderful year post transplant; she lived an entire lifetime in that year. Tia worked most of her life but settled into Canadream for the last four years, and became a very proud member of the Nova Scotia Jeep Club and was looking forward to her first winter on the SWAT team. Tia will be dearly missed by her Mom and Dad (Shari and Steve), Papa and Grammie (Harold and Glenda Moore), Aunt Judy and Uncle Rob, Her boys (Jason and Michael), Uncle Rick and Aunt Sarah, cousins (Amanda and Jake), the love of her life (Justin), and many, many friends. Titters and Maxwell are missing her already. Tia was predeceased by her Grammie Grammie, Pampie, and her young CF friends who went before her. Visiting will be Friday, December 29, from 7-9 p.m., and a memorial service will be held Saturday, December 30, at 10:30 a.m. with reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stephen Russell Cystic Fibrosis Fund, 6 Lynwood Dr., Halifax, NS B3M 1Y7. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but the things that take our breath away." (Dec. 29/06 - AULENBACK, Tia Amanda - 22. In loving memory of our granddaughter and niece who passed away on December 26, 2006. Tia is survived by her grandparents, Victor and Gloria Aulenback; Aunts, Mariea Aulenback and Kim MacDonald; Uncles, Victor Jr., Darrell and Roger, cousins, Kaylee, Brittany, Jennifer, Laurie and Stephanie. Tia was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Pearl Trimmings. Like a falling star who has found her place next to another in a lovely constellation, where she will sparkle in the heavens forever.)
